About this place
Occupying the 2nd floor of a building in Minami-Tokiwadai, Ramen Bar CoCo operates from 20:00 in the evening until 5:00 the following morning, offering a relaxed bar setting dedicated to gyoza and drinks. Despite its bar format, the food menu features a substantial lineup of dumplings. Alongside crisp, fragrant pan-fried yaki-gyoza, there are garlic-free ginger gyoza with a clean finish, and thin-skinned shiso dumplings folded with minced green perilla. Those seeking a bit of heat can turn to the red, spicy gyoza dressed with glass noodles, rayu chilli oil, and oyster sauce, or crunchy bite-sized otsumami gyoza that pair easily with each pour.
For a heartier bite, substantial options include jumbo dumplings loaded with roughly chopped cabbage and garlic, thick-skinned big boiled gyoza, and elongated stick dumplings. The noodle selection nods directly to the bar's name, featuring a sea bream dashi salt ramen built on a clear broth, a sea bream salt chanmen loaded with vegetables, spicy mala tang ramen, and an elevated sea bream ramen with shijimi clams—ideal choices for wrapping up an evening of drinking.
A self-service all-you-can-drink plan focuses on whisky and shochu, allowing guests to pace their evening while dipping into darts, karaoke, or games. A selection of carbonated water, teas, and flavoured syrups lets customers mix drinks to their preferred strength and taste, adding to the informal, self-guided atmosphere.
